About the Big Hollow Bluegrass Band

Big Hollow Bluegrass Band is from Laramie, Wyoming. Big Hollow plays a blend of traditional and contemporary bluegrass, including original compositions. The band was formed in 1996, and has played many venues in the Laramie area including Happy Jack Music Festival, Freedom Has a Birthday, Platte Valley Arts Festival, University of Wyoming, Coal Creek Coffee, Old Town Bagel, Epson Center, Wyoming Public Radio, and numerous private parties. The band takes its name from the geologic feature west of Laramie. Legend has it that if you stand in the valley on a clear night you will be able to hear faintly the sound of bluegrass music.
